Early-Career Development Program

This program supports newly appointed faculty by providing funding to initiate or advance research and diverse creative activities during the early stages of their academic careers at UC Chile.

Certificate in University Teaching

Designed to enhance the teaching competencies of the University's faculty, ensuring high-quality education in alignment with the UC Chile Educational Framework and the Quality Teaching Guiding Principles.

Support for research activities

The Office of Research fosters research in all areas of knowledge, boosts interdisciplinary development and promotes research with an international scope. It supports applications to national and international projects and offers grants to academics.

Fund for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

This fund promotes training in teaching innovation within an international context, enabling professors to adopt innovative practices, apply educational research and master strategies and tools that enhance their teaching skills and the overall teaching-learning process.

Sabbatical Leave

Faculty may request an authorized period of sabbatical leave from the Academic Unit. This time way from their regular activities can be used to engage and advance in research or creative activities, either within Chile or abroad, with the expectation of contributing with valuable academic work to the University.

Pastoral Office for Faculty

The office provides faith-oriented opportunities for faculty and researchers, supporting projects with various objectives, including Christianity, education, research, and creative endeavors.
