Job description
The vacancy is for a full-time Special Staff Lecturer position at the School of Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry and of Pharmacy, UC Chile. The position involves a primary dedication to teaching, possibly including some management and research tasks directly related to teaching.
The applicant will be required to teach undergraduate courses in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must have undergraduate training in chemistry or in related fields and hold a doctor degree in chemistry or in related fields. They must demonstrate teaching experience, proactivity, leadership, interdisciplinary teamwork skills, and an interest in research and innovation in teaching. They must also have teaching team management skills and experience in coordinating and organizing large-scale courses. Applicants must be fluent in English and possess both oral and written communication skills.
