Job description

The vacancy is for a full-time teaching position on special staff at the School of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Faculty of Chemistry and of Pharmacy, UC Chile. The position involves a primary dedication to teaching, possibly including some management tasks, continuing education and research directly related to teaching.

The applicant will be required to teach undergraduate courses in one of the following areas: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Instrumental Analysis.

Applicant Profile

Applicants must have undergraduate studies in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields, and must hold a doctor degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy or equivalent. They must demonstrate teaching experience, proactivity, leadership, interdisciplinary teamwork skills, and an interest in research and innovation in teaching. They must also have teaching team management skills and experience in coordinating and organizing large-scale courses. They must be fluent in English and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
